Coniston Copper Complete

inHeritage were the interpretive writers on the Heritage Lottery Fund supported Coniston Copper project.

We worked with partners Minerva Heritage and The Way Design to create a series of gateway panels, on-site panels, interpretive stone monoliths, a self-guided trail and family spotters’ guide to the copper mining remains of Coniston’s Coppermines Valley. An enjoyable part of the project was to come up with the idea of writing poetic pieces to be carved on slate monoliths for the most sensitive parts of this national park and world heritage landscape. The panels were launched on the 24th May.
