Worcester Hive Exhibition

We created an exhibition about the history of part of Worcester called The Butts for Worcestershire Archives and Archaeology Service.

Based on archaeological excavations, oral history and archival research at The Butts, the exhibition opened The Hive, the city’s new building housing the Service along with libraries built on site of The Butts. A second copy of the exhibition went on a 20-month tour of public libraries in Worcestershire.
We also created a cartoon-based children’s time detectives trail, an interactive guide to the exhibition for Key stage 2, 7 – 11 year olds.
The final element was an audio-visual presentation based on oral history interviews of people who lived and worked in The Butts, along with old photographs.
